The Client is a large North American manufacturer of quality foods and is the world's largest producer of French fries. With revenues of over US $ 6 billion, it has over 55 production facilities in 6 continents employing more than 20,000 people globally.
The Challenge
The Client has implemented the Legacy ERP called PRMS. The solution has a core version implemented globally that is customized to suit the local requirements in each region. This leads to multiple versions existing simultaneously. Hence upgrading the version of the core system and interfacing other applications to it are major challenges.
The Solution
Systsoft Systems & Software (Systsoft) was involved in upgrading the core PRMS system to reflect the changing business needs of the entire organization. Systsoft then took part in actual upgradation of the systems in the different regions, while at the same time retaining the modifications that had been made at the local level.
Systsoft also integrated other applications to the PRMS system, including complete replacement of the Financial modules of PRMS with the Lawson Financials solution and integration of some SAP modules with PRMS.
