Our History

Systsoft Systems & Software was incorporated in Mumbai (Bombay), India in 1980. At the time computers were quite new in India and we provided turnkey solutions - system design, development and data entry and processing services to clients. Some of the clients of S&S, in this period, included: State Bank of India and the Reader's Digest magazine's Indian franchise, then owned by The Tata Group.

In 1988 Systsoft established software development facility in SEEPZ-SEZ, the Special Economic Zone, located in Mumbai (Bombay) and installed IBM's System/38. We started providing onsite software services to clients in the Middle East and USA. In 1991 we installed our first IBM AS/400 computer and executed our first offshore development project. In 1996, Systsoft's Quality Management System was certified to be compliant with the ISO 9001 standards.

During the nineties Systsoft was a Distributor, for Synon/2E CASE and RAD product now called AllFusion:2E (a CA product). Towards the end of the millenium, we were involved in the process of Y2K enabling of IBM AS/400 based applications and this period also saw a number of projects for Euro currency conversion as well. During the next few years S&S developed products for the Diamond Manufacturing and retail Forex dealership industries.

Since the middle of this decade, S&S has built a Microsoft .NET practice and has executed complete solution development as well as maintenance projects on this platform. We have also designed web based products on this platform for Helpdesk Management and System i (iSeries or AS/400) spool file conversion to Charts, PDF & Excel.
