Re-Distribute converts spool files to PDF and Excel CSV, online in a web browser in one click. A spool file can be searched on different criteria like Spool File Name, User Data, User Name, Output Queue, Library and Form Type. The spool file reports that meet the search criteria are displayed in Re-Distribute with buttons to view them in Excel CSV or PDF.

When the Excel CSV or PDF buttons are clicked, Re-Distribute reads the spool file, processes the data to create the output file. This file is then opened in the browser. The Excel CSV or PDF document is also saved in the web server for each individual user, from where it can be viewed or emailed.

The spool file can be converted and viewed only by users who have the authority to view it on the System i (iSeries or AS/400).
